Celebrating The Blades, A Black Love Story

On Saturday, May 18, 2019, Jordan and Olivia crossed paths for the very first time at a mutual friend’s graduation party. Olivia noticed Jordan from across the room and immediately asked, “Damn, he is fine—who is that?” After a few introductions and shared details, the two went on their first date the following Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Mill on the River.What was meant to be a simple dinner turned into hours of talking about dreams, goals, and everything under the sun—they ended up sitting outside the restaurant until nearly 2 a.m.Just a little over a month later, on June 29, 2019, Jordan asked Olivia to be his girlfriend, and the adventure officially began.Their greatest blessing arrived on May 9, 2021, when they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Journee, into the world.Fast forward to October 9, 2023, when Jordan proposed at Wickham Park—and Olivia said yes without hesitation.From Jordan completing his master’s degree, to Olivia finishing nursing school, to becoming parents, buying a home, and now planning a wedding, life has shown them time and time again that together, they can conquer anything.And this is just the beginning. 💍✨
