Our story began in 2015 when Olivia decided to transfer back home to WestConn after spending a half-semester in South Carolina—where she quickly realized she missed the comfort of Connecticut, along with her family and friends.

It all started when Olivia saw Kevin pop up on her Instagram, thanks to a picture posted by Johnny Foristall, her best friend Amanda’s brother. Not long after, they ended up at the same party. Olivia, being her usual self, tapped Kevin on the shoulder. Kevin, being as smooth as ever, waved and... walked away. Classic.

A few months later, fate stepped in, and we bumped into each other again. This time, we sat down, started talking—and didn’t stop for the rest of the night. That night sparked an amazing friendship full of laughter, fun, and spontaneous adventures. We didn’t officially start dating until October 2017, but let’s be real—we were practically already a couple by then.

From there, it was nothing but inseparable moments. We moved from place to place together, supported each other through the ups and downs of our bachelor’s degrees, Olivia’s master’s in education, and Kevin’s second bachelor’s in nursing. We’ve been each other’s biggest supporters as we’ve worked hard to build our careers and grow into the people we are today.

Last year, when Olivia’s father, Nabeel, passed away, Kevin was there every step of the way, offering love and support during such a difficult time. His strength helped Olivia through the grieving process, and it made us even stronger as a couple.

Then, in his own time (after much anticipation), Kevin finally popped the question, and here we are—excitedly planning the day we get to marry the love of our lives. We are beyond thrilled to celebrate this next chapter with our closest friends and family, who have been such an important part of our journey. We wouldn't be here without all of you!
