When is the RSVP deadline?
We would appreciate it if you RSVP before July 1st. You can simply RSVP right here on our wedding website. If we do not hear from you by July 1st, we will assume that you cannot join us at the wedding.
Can I bring a plus one?
In your online invitation, there is a specified number of guests the invite is intended for with names of each guest in the party. If we have allowed you to bring a plus one, the guest count on your invitation will allow for that. When we get closer to the wedding date, if we still have accommodations for plus ones, we will personally be in touch if we want to extend a plus-one invite to you.
Can I bring my kids?
Our guest list is 21+ and children are only included in the invitation by name. Childcare/Daycare will NOT be available on site. Please take this night to relax, dance, and celebrate with us!
What accommodations are nearby?
Our wedding will take place about 5 minutes from Cambridge. Easton is about 15 minutes from Cambridge. The Hyatt in Cambridge is a very popular hotel and they do offer group rates. Airbnb is another great option for housing; I would set the location to either Cambridge or Easton. As most of you know, Nathan and I live in Federalsburg and would love to continue the celebration into Sunday with an after-party at our house, so we recommend taking that into consideration when finding a place to stay. Federalsburg is about 30 minutes from Cambridge and Easton. Please take a look at our "Travel" tab for our top recommended accommodations near our wedding location.
Where are you registered?
While gifts are not expected, we would love if you could contribute to our honeymoon. Under the “Registry” tab, there’s an option to make a money donation directly to us, but we will also take cash/check or mobile payment (venmo: @onhoffman). We also have some household items listed on our registry through Amazon.
What should I wear?
We would love to see everyone in cocktail attire. Men should choose to wear dress pants or khakis and pair it with a collared or dress shirt. Women can wear dresses, jumpsuits, or rompers and pair it with a pair of heels, sandals, or flats. We ask that you do not wear T-shirts, jeans, or shorts. Please reserve the color white out of respect for the bride. Keep in mind that the ceremony and cocktail hour is planned to take place outside and the reception will be indoors, so dress accordingly and keep an eye on the weather leading up to the big day!
What time should I arrive?
Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive no later than 4:15pm to make sure everyone is seated on time. If you are walking up or pulling into the parking lot at the time our ceremony starts, you will kindly be asked to stay in your vehicle until the ceremony is over and cocktail hour starts.
Can I take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?
We are having an unplugged ceremony, which means no pictures, no videos, no Facebook Live, etc. We want our guests to be fully present in this special moment and not watch it from behind a screen. We will share pictures from our wonderful photographer as soon as we receive them.
