What is the dress code?
The dress code is semi-formal/formal.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Your invite will specify if a plus one is included.
Will there be blocks of rooms reserved?
Blocks of rooms will be reserved at The Surety Hotel and Hotel Fort Des Moines. If the blocks become full, you can still reserve rooms at those hotels, or there are many great options in the surrounding area.
When does the reception end?
The reception will end at 10:30 p.m.
When do I need to RSVP by?
We ask that our guests RSVP by June 20th! If you need more time or plans change, please let the bride or groom know!
How do I get to the Tea Room for the cocktail hour and reception?
The Tea Room is located on the sixth floor of the Wilkins Building at 713 Walnut Street in downtown Des Moines. For entrance to The Tea Room, enter the building at the northwest corner on the east side of 8th Street, halfway between Walnut and Locust. Take the elevator up to the sixth floor. If the doors are not unlocked, please call The Tea Room on the buzzer box to the left of the doors.
