We got off to an auspicious start. We met the night before law school orientation (we were both about to start our first year at the University of Wisconsin Law School). Olivia does not remember it. We met again at a law school function a couple of days later and immediately forgot each other's names. We ran into each other a few more times over the next couple of weeks, and, although we recognized each other, we continuously forgot each other's names.

Our encounters would go something like this:

Jack: *points to (or possibly makes finger gun motion at) Olivia*

Olivia: *points to Jack*

Jack: "You!"

Olivia: "Hey, you!"

Finally, after three or four weeks and several introductions, we actually remembered each other's names. Although we did not have any classes together in our first semester, we got to know each other at law school social events. Special shoutout to the Wando's bar review where Jack drank several fishbowls and would not stop showing off his calves.

We became friends but pretty quickly realized there was something more there. Just a few months into our first semester of law school, we started dating and have been annoyingly inseparable ever since.
