Our Wedding

We met during The Matchmaker - a play in CNYP's 2020 season. Nic was directing, Olivia performing. We managed three performances until Covid-19 cancelled the rest of the run. After we left the theater for the last time, we started texting, and never stopped. We took things slow in 2020, and most of our "dates" consisted of going outside and hiking since all traditional date options weren't available to us. On Valentines Day of 2021, we made our relationship official. Through 2021, our relationship got much more serious. We met each other's parents. We traveled together. We said "I love you" for the first time. We moved in together. 2022 was when we started setting long term goals. House, marriage, dog, all the works. We both finally got to start performing again - and even with each other! 2023 was a wildly busy year. In the summer we bought our house - proving to each other that when we set a goal, it comes true. Homeownership is tough, but it really solidified that we work best as a team. We also got our perfect, adorable pup, Tyler. He is an angel. In 2023 we had agreed that house came first, and then marriage could happen after. Now that one thing was done...it was only a matter of time. After months of trying on rings, teasing, and sneaky secret planning, Nic proposed on June 29, 2024. It was a perfect day - an intimate and personal proposal, and then a wonderful celebration with so many friends and family. We are so so excited to see what comes next in our story, and we are so thankful that you want to celebrate with us!

Air Travel

Ithaca is the closest airport (24 miles) to our venue. It is a smaller airport but still could be the most convenient for our out-of-state guests. Rental cars, taxis, and Uber/Lyft are available at ITH.

Ithaca Tompkins International Airport

SYR is a larger airport and is 80 miles from our venue. SYR will offer the most variety for flight times and airlines.

Syracuse Hancock International Airport

Travel

If time allows, we have included some incredible spots in the local area that you may wish to visit. The Finger Lakes are full of beautiful views, hiking, waterfalls, and wineries.

If you're looking for something to do outside to get some exercise and see some stunning waterfall views, Watkins Glen is a beautiful State Park to explore.
