While we love Martingayle, you might be hard pressed to find a place to stay in Shorter. About twenty minutes west, there are some hotels in the Eastchase area of Montgomery! We completely recommend the area if you're looking for somewhere to stay!

You might have heard Olivia enthusiastically talk about "her cows" at the venue. Martingayle Plantation is a working cattle farm! There are primarily Brahman cattle, and they are very unique looking. The bride has made several attempts to pet them but to no avail. We're considering them the wedding mascots.
