How will we get onto the Naval Academy for the ceremony?

Because the Naval Academy has strict rules and regulations for security, all guests MUST bring their driver's license or an active form of I.D.. Shuttles will take guests from The Westin Annapolis Hotel main entrance straight onto the Naval Academy and back at 3:15pm and 4pm. Those that prefer to arrive on foot must be screened by security at the main gate of the Naval Academy.

What is the best way to get to Annapolis?

There are many options to drive or fly to Annapolis. Please see the "Hotel + Transportation" section of the website for more information.

Is there a dress code?

Formal attire is requested. Suit and tie for men. No tux required. Long or short formal dress or pant suit for women. Active Duty/Retired military members may wear Service Dress Blues or the equivalent at their discretion.

Why are these Ohioans getting married in Annapolis?

Annapolis, Maryland is home to Ethan's alma mater, the United States Naval Academy. Use of the Naval Academy Chapel for weddings is limited to Naval Academy alumni, active-duty military, staff and faculty members. Ethan currently serves as a pilot in the United States Navy and we are so proud of his service. Annapolis, MD sits on the Chesapeake Bay and is home to rich history, beautiful scenery, and charming streets of amazing shops and eateries. We hope you will enjoy Annapolis as we do!

Will there be an afterparty?

Yes!!!! The after party will occur following the end of the reception on the third floor of Metropolitan Kitchen & Lounge at 175 West St, Annapolis, MD 21401. This is within walking distance of The Westin Annapolis where the reception will be held!

By when should I RSVP?

RSVPs are due April 1st, 2025 on our website. However, if you know you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible.

Who is invited to the Wedding?

Those whose invitations include "& Guest" are welcomed to bring a date to the wedding. Invitations addressed to "Family," include all members of the household as invites. If the invitation was addressed to, "Mr. and Mrs." only those on the invitation are invited. These are reflected in your RSVP selections.
