Olivia and Brandon met in their sophomore year at Hough High School through JROTC. Although they never really spoke until their junior year, Brandon had always been interested in Olivia, finding her very pretty. However, in junior year, Olivia and Brandon shared a chemistry class, where they started talking and eventually hung out outside of class. On February 11th, 2018, Brandon asked Olivia to be his girlfriend, and she happily agreed.

Their relationship continues to grow, as they continued to date through their junior and senior year, even taking a family vacation to the Bahamas!

After graduating from high school, Olivia decided to attend Furman University, and Brandon decided to enter the workforce as an auto mechanic. Although the couple originally had reservations about continuing to date long distance, they decided it was worth it. With weekend trips and virtual date nights, Olivia and Brandon continued to grow as both individuals and as a couple. Though the distance was hard, it made every moment spent together that much better.

Olivia and Brandon travel to Lake Tahoe together with Brandon's family for a fantastic Christmas vacation! The couple still dreams of going back to this day.

Proof that long distance can be annoying (but worth it). Don't worry, he called her back after every missed call.

In November of 2021, Brandon closed on his first townhouse! This marked a big next step for Olivia and Brandon, as this would become their home that they would share, especially once Olivia moved home from college.

After what felt like 20 years, Olivia finally graduated from her undergraduate program at Furman! This would mark the next big chapter as Olivia moved home with Brandon full-time, no longer doing long distance after 4 years.

While on vacation in Punta Cana, Brandon proposes!! Woohoo!! Olivia gave a very emphatic "YES"! On to wedding planning!! Fun Fact: The ring is a family heirloom on Olivia's side. Olivia's family gifted the ring to Brandon to propose with, adding even more meaning for the couple.
