It all began on Carry the Load. Olivia was assigned the Midwest Route. Meanwhile, Nate was starting back up with his co op at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

In May of 2023, Olivia was just passing through Cincinnati. Nate and Olivia both had Bumble. Swiping right led to texts throughout the day that turned into FaceTime calls. They could not get enough of learning about each other. They were learning about each others relationships with Jesus, their families, what makes them laugh.

Eventually they met. Instantly the sparks flew. Olivia and Nate decided that they wanted to pursue each other no matter the distance. The next few months involved lots of flights and weekend trips. It also included Olivia getting Nate to try boiled peanuts and Nate getting Olivia to try Skyline Chili.

They learned quickly that they had fun together and that they wanted to work through anything that was thrown in their way. They always cheered each other on and pushed each other to be who God has intended for them to be.

It has been so amazing seeing how God aligned our steps and allowed our paths to cross in His timing. Through the valleys and the mountains, we want to be united in Jesus.
