If you had asked either of us back in seventh grade if we could imagine being married to one another and living our dream life, we would have laughed.

Fletcher and I first met back in seventh grade. We had a handful of classes together throughout middle and high school but never really interacted beyond a sarcastic comment here or there.

After high school, Fletcher joined the Army, and I started my education journey. It wasn't until December 2017 that one swipe would bring us back together. While Fletcher was home on leave for the holidays we reconnected. The last year that he was in the army we talked almost daily. I had even flipped my living room upside down to construct the perfect lighting and backdrop for our Facetime.

Fast forward to January 2019 when Fletcher moved home after leaving the military and we were inseparable. He started coming over weekly to watch The Bachelor with my roommates and me and eventually just never left.

We eventually moved into our first apartment together during the pandemic and shortly thereafter adopted Tucker on our anniversary. Since then we have continued to support each other's dreams and continued to build the life we love.

In 2022 Fletcher was accepted into the economics program at Berkeley and our little family moved to Walnut Creek. Since then we have adopted Josie (on another anniversary), moved twice, Fletcher has graduated from UC Berkley and I have my dream job as a third-grade teacher.

We count ourselves as one of the few people who genuinely love our life. In our six years together, we have each furthered our education, had constant laughter, traveled, and pushed one another to succeed. Neither of us could have imagined marrying the other back in seventh grade but now, we can't imagine a life without one another.
