Welcome to Amelia Island, Florida! We're so glad you are here. Below are some recommendations on where to stay. There are also tons more options and any place on the island is great. Amelia Island is approximately 13 miles long and 2 miles wide so you can usually get anywhere you need in about 10-15 minutes. We do recommend having a car or renting a car for the weekend if you will be coming from out of town. If you have any questions please reach out to the bride or groom!
Courtyard by Marriott Amelia Island
The Courtyard Amelia Island is located on the north end of the island, only a block from Main Beach and directly down Atlantic Avenue from downtown Fernandina Beach.
The Courtyard is approximately 15 minutes from The Amelia River Club, where the reception will be held. The last day to book a room in our block at the discounted rate is April 20.

The Hampton Inn Amelia Island is located on Sadler Rd which is towards the center of the island. About 3 blocks from the beach and 10 minutes from downtown Fernandina Beach. Approximately 11 minutes from The Amelia River Club, where the reception will be held.

The Residence Inn Amelia Island is located on Sadler Rd, right next to the Hampton Inn, which is towards the center of the island. About 4 blocks from the beach and 10 minutes from downtown Fernandina Beach. Approximately 11 minutes from The Amelia River Club, where the reception will be held.

The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island
The Ritz Carlton is located on the south end of the island. It is a beautiful, family friendly property with a pool, beach access, and a spa.
We unfortunately do not have a special rate for our wedding weekend.
Omni Amelia Island Resort
The Omni Amelia Island Resort has a ton to offer. Located in a gated community, called The Plantation, on the south end of the island; it is a beautiful resort with multiple pools, beach access, and parks.
We unfortunately do not have a special rate for our wedding weekend but encourage you to stay here as it is only 10 minutes from the reception venue, The Amelia River Club.
The Villas of Amelia Island
The Omni hotel is located on The Plantation which is on the south end of the island. It is only about 10 minutes from the reception location, also located on the south end of the island.
The Plantation offers multiple Villa options not connected to the Omni hotel but still gives you access to the hotel amenities and restaurants. There is also a shuttle available to and from the Omni hotel and Villas.
Jacksonville International Airport

Jacksonville International Airport is the closest airport and is approximately 45 minutes to Amelia Island.
