The golf course was where it all began! We met way back when Makinna started high school and Olivia was a sophomore at Cor Jesu Academy on the golf team. Makinna still loves to golf and can occasionally convince Olivia to join in for a round at Tower Tee.

Our first Disney World Trip! Olivia has been venturing to Disney World since the age of 6 months old multiple times a year. She wanted to share her love of Disney with Makinna and got the chance during summer break in between sophomore/junior and junior/senior year of high school.

And the rest is history, we have been back to Disney World at least once a year almost every year. It has become one of our favorite places.

Fun fact: this trip to Disney World was for Olivia's brother and sister-in-law's wedding which took place in the EPCOT/Boardwalk area as well.

Even though we spent school years apart while Makinna was in college, we always looked forward to summer time and our annual Disney trip. Christmas time at the resort is our favorite time to visit!

Our first solo couples trip to Disney World! Makinna planned this entire trip for Olivia as a surprise for her birthday.

Even a pandemic and the requirement of wearing masks in the brutal Orlando heat didn't stop us from going to Disney!

We finally came out! After many trying times as a closeted couple, we realized we deserved happiness as everyone else. Life without each other was unimaginable and this was our forever. Love is love.

Our first Disney cruise was to Alaska! Can't keep us away from the Disney magic for too long.

We're finally engaged! We got engaged in Disney World at one of our favorite resorts, Coronado Springs.

To celebrate our engagement, we took another Disney cruise through the Bahamas!
