Although we love your little ones, this is an adult-only affair. Only children involved in the ceremony will be in attendance.
On August 24, 2019, 18-year-old Olivia moved into her new dorm room, 408B in Heritage Hall at the University of West Florida. Little did she know, her future husband had just moved into 410B. Unbeknownst to them, their paths crossed daily. In the elevator, in the hall, at the cafeteria. On November 15, 2019, Olivia got out of the shower, wearing pajamas and combing through her wet tangled hair, to find a boy looking at her beta fish Sushi in his pink castle. Her remarkably friendly roommate invited people over all the time, and this time she invited the boy from room 410B to look at her fish. After she hung up her towel and brushed her hair, she followed the impressively loud voice of her roommate through the hallway, one door down, to 410. She noticed one particular name on the door: Zac, with no h and no k. "That's a name for a really cool person," she thought. She opened the door and found the boy from before and his roommate. After a few minutes together, Olivia said to the boy Zac, "You're nice. I like you." He never forgot that moment. The next day, Olivia's roommate got an obscure invitation. It said, "Hey Abby, my roommate is having a bonfire on the beach and told me to invite you and your roommates." For years after this, Olivia had no idea that Zac had planned this for them to hang out. She actually hardly talked to him that night not knowing he was the one who invited her! But before the night ended, after several people had left, Zac casually pulled out a telescope and suggested they look at the moon. After that night, Zac came to her dorm on his way to lunch at the cafeteria and they walked together every day. Then on January 29, 2020, after Olivia's roommate had fallen asleep in the middle of truth or dare, Zac spoke his truth. "I like you," he said, "a lot." Olivia had no idea what to say. All she wanted was to be his friend and see him every day. Then on March 6, 2020, during a camping trip, Zac said “I think you like me back. Correct me if I’m wrong.” Olivia smiled and did not answer him. “It is hot in here,” she said. The truth was she was starting to like him back. Fast forward through COVID and the most awkward interactions imaginable, Olivia and Zac reunited on campus in January 2021. They became very close, and then on March 15, 2021, they shared their first kiss. I could say, "And the rest is history," but we would have to fast forward again through them trying to keep it a secret from their roommates, a long summer separated, and, dun-dun-dun, a breakup. Then in August, 2022, God "randomly" assigned them dorm neighbors once again. They went to the gym together everyday, ate lunch together everyday, and then, on October 1, 2022, they had their first actual date. And the rest is future!
