Our story began in 2017 at our high school's Link Crew Camp. We bonded over a Wendy's Frosty, setting the stage for eight months of telling everyone, "we're just friends" before we officially started dating in 2018. As high school sweethearts, we navigated the challenges of long-distance through college, whether it was 256 miles during the semester, 12 miles during the summer, or 179 miles when I was living in Covington, KY. No distance was too great for us, and we always found a way to make it work. Our long-distance chapter ended beautifully just thirty minutes after Brendan graduated from Purdue and we got engaged in December 2022.
