Directions to Cabot from Montpelier
It's really easy to get to BackRoads Farm, but phone service is spotty. Write down or take a photo/screenshot of these directions to have them in case you don't get cell service.
From Montpelier: Take Towne Hill Rd to Route 2. Head East on Route 2 all the way (18 or so miles) to Danville Hill Rd. Take a left on Danville Rd. Take a Right on Urban Rd. The Farm will be on the left. Look for the welcome station, we'll be there to greet you and let you know where to park. :)
We will have signs that say "Olli & Pete" with arrows, just in case. Keep a look-out!
If you're arriving on Thursday, please arrive after 4pm and before 9pm. (generally)... We'd like to be around to help you find your way.
Flying here
Fly, bike, train, bus or take a hot air balloon (our personal favorite)
Sun Country has cheap flights from Minneapolis to Burlington and back Thurs-Sun. You can fly into the Burlington International Airport, which is the closest airport to Montpelier/Cabot, but depending on your travel plans you may want to come from NYC, Providence, Boston, or Albany.
Getting Around
We hope that folks can self organize small groups getting to and from the airport and to the various wedding events using the carpool resources provided here. Many folks will probably be coming from Burlington International Airport, but there are other options coming from NYC, Providence, and Boston too!
Option One
Rent a Car/Van at the airport with a group and carpool together (most cost effective and fun!) You can keep coordinating with this group for getting around for the other events too.
Use Caroster app to offer and get a ride. If you live in VT and are wanting to offer rides you can also do so using Caroster.
Option Two
Rent a car or use your own and get you and yours to Montpelier and beyond! No need to coordinate with others.

Lodging Options
If you plan to do anything but camp, be sure to book your room(s) well in advance. It will be prime leaf-peeping season so the area will be flooded with tourists and many of the hotels are already booked. Explore the options now!
Rustic Tent Camping at Back Roads Farm
Pitch a tent on the farm property Friday-Sunday. The farm has a sauna, various fire pits, gardens to wander through, outdoor shower and gorgeous views. This is where the ceremony and dance will be on Saturday.

Call the venue and talk to Wendy. Let her know you're with Olli and Pete and she'll assign you one of the 7 rooms we've reserved. You will be responsible for paying for your own room at the time of booking. Please book by Sept 1st if you plan on staying in a hotel room.
