UK Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA)

As of January 8, 2025, US citizens will need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to travel to the UK. Below is the link to the application. The link below is for discounted accommodation at the Holiday Inn Taunton. This hotel is located near the venue for Friday night's welcome party. If you need transportation to and from the venue, we will be providing a shuttle from this hotel to St. Audries on Saturday morning, and back again on Sunday morning.

As a thank you for making the trip across the pond for us, we will be covering your stay at the venue on Saturday night. There will be no need to book lodging, unless you choose not to stay at the venue. Check-in on Saturday begins at 11:00AM. We will be providing a shuttle from the Friday hotel to St. Audries. If you do not plan to stay at the hotel on Friday night, please arrange transportation to the venue. If you choose to pursue alternative lodging for Saturday night, please reach out to us individually to let us know.

Self-guided tour of the sets that were used to film the Harry Potter movies. Includes the sets, costumes, makeup, and a look into how some of the special effects worked. We spent well over 3 hours exploring and could have stayed longer.

Bath was one of the highlights of our trip. Very walkable, plenty of restaurants, and a peak into Roman history with a self-guided tour of the Bath House.

Walking tour of Oxford University guided by a current student/alumnus. If you are interested in exploring Oxford, we highly recommend a guided tour as there is an abundance of history and this is the best way to see/learn it all. See where J.R.R Tolkien supposedly got his inspiration for The Two Towers, where C.S. Lewis got some inspiration for Narnia, and Einstein's Blackboard. We booked through this company and had a wonderful experience.
