Where do I begin??? I guess when I was 14 years old. Yep! I met my friend and now partner for Life. The days of us hanging at my house, a group of 4 boys (the Casanovas) and 4 girls (the Casanova lovers) was formed. From listening to music, to watching them dance like the temptations, to singing at the top of their lungs then asking, "Will you be my girlfriend? Check the box, Yes or No" lol, those were the days. Fast forward to the late 90’s to him rolling through the block cause he heard I was living over there and just like old times, the chemistry was still there. A little older, a little wiser but not quite ready yet but still enjoying the moment. NOW!!!! Here we are again, they say third times a Charm or should I say, DIAMOND. A little older, a little wiser and very much ready. All the late-night talks, the childish giggles. Just the glow he put on my face for the world to see! In front of family and friends, he put a ring on it.

If I had my life to live over again,

I’d find him sooner so that I could love him longer.

Khadijah and I first met in the 80's, when young love brought us together. Little did we know that our fates were locked in for a greater purpose. Life took us in different directions as we grew into young adults. I reconnected with Khadijah in the late 90s. We were both older and wiser and should have been able to make our relationship last. But our sunny days were clouded by turbulent times, and we eventually went our separate ways again. Fast forward to now, and we are embarking on a life of true love. Our past relationship was a good preparation for our now.

Together, our strengths surpass our weaknesses and I vow to keep our Love intact, and the element of life will never separate us.
