We met online in 2022 where we had a very interesting first date at a coffee shop. We had planned to meet and did not know that there was a cosplay event at the same time! Needless to say, it was very distracting trying to get to know somebody while people dressed up as different characters were playing games at the table next to us. After a second date where we could talk in a less distracting environment, we decided to go on a third date at a candle making shop where we had a great dinner, and not wanting the date to end we found a bench where we just talked. That was the moment we knew that our connection was real. Three years later, Owen took us back to the same shopping center where we had our third date under the guise of needing to go shopping. We found the bench where we had our third date, Owen got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was so special having that full circle moment.
