We met in 2020 at Camp Lakeview. Owen was actually Bekah's Junior Counselor and we obviously didn't think anything of it at the time!

Bekah worked at Camp Lakeview for her 3rd summer and Owen was there for his 1st summer working! We immediately became great friends and were even paired up as family cabins for the first and last weeks of the summer!

We spent the next couple years as friends. We have the best friend group from camp so we always had the opportunity to see each other!

We visited our friend that lived in Fairfax, VA at the time. Owen finally asked Bekah to be his girlfriend on Super Bowl Sunday on February 12th, 2023 after a weekend of venturing around Washington DC together!

We worked at camp together one last summer and cherished the special place that brought us together.

Owen graduated from the University of Southern Indiana and we were done doing long(ish) distance! Owen moved back to Seymour and we got to hang out nearly everyday!

Owen proposed at the place where it all began on October 18, 2025. He surprised Bekah and had friends & family there too.
