Our Wedding

We met while working at the Marriott hotel, where Owen was an engineer and Audrey was the barista at the Caribou Coffee inside the hotel. We quickly became friends, catching shy glances across the lobby and sharing those slightly awkward “hi’s” that secretly made our day. Owen doesn’t even drink coffee, but he’d order something just to have a reason to talk to Audrey… and then throw it away right after. Looking back, we can clearly see God’s hand in our story long before we even realized it. On one of Owen’s trips to Arizona, he just so happened to end up on the same flight home as Audrey’s parents, long before he ever officially met them. It felt like God was already stitching the pieces together, getting us ready for the right moment. Life took us in different directions for a while, and we lost touch. But in May 2023, God’s timing was perfect. Audrey had just come back from Arizona, we were both single, and we both knew exactly what we wanted in a relationship. On May 9th, Owen saw Audrey for the first time in ages, and that same night he FaceTimed her to ask if she’d go on a date that Friday, May 12th. Audrey’s adorable response? A very surprised, “Really??!” And just like that, everything clicked. From our first date on, being together felt easy, natural, and like something we didn’t want to let go of. In the past two years, we’ve built a life full of laughter, deep conversations, spontaneous road trips, and plenty of coffee Owen still doesn’t drink. On June 20, 2025, we had a private ceremony on Wayzata Beach and officially became husband and wife. We wanted to start our lives together and save up for the big day, so Audrey moved in and we began our marriage adventure. Now, exactly one year later on June 20, 2026, we get to celebrate with all of you, surrounded by our favorite people, as we say “I do” all over again. We are so thankful for the way God brought us together, the timing He orchestrated so perfectly, and the love He’s grown between us. We can’t wait to celebrate this incredible blessing with all of you by our side.
