Our story began on the playground in 4th grade when a mutual friend introduced us. By 6th grade, we became best friends, brought together by our gym class’s assigned lineup. Michael’s playful flirting and efforts to make Meena laugh laid the foundation for a bond that would grow stronger over the years.

We created many memories through middle and high school—asking each other to school dances, cheering at sports games, and working as camp counselors every summer. With each shared moment, we built a relationship based on friendship, support, and endless fun.

Despite the demands of college life, we always made time for each other. Whether it was simply cooking together, watching sunsets at Clinton Lake, or exploring the local food scene in Lawrence, every shared experience brought us closer.

One of the most unforgettable moments was our trip to Italy, where Michael proposed on the Amalfi Coast. The day was magical, ending with a surprise dinner overlooking the sea. Reflecting on our journey from childhood friends to life partners, we were filled with gratitude and love.

Now, we live together in Kansas City and are so excited for the future— dreaming of traveling the world, building a family, and growing old together. We are incredibly grateful to have such wonderful family and friends, and we would be truly honored to have you join us in Kansas City to celebrate our marriage!
