Q: When should I book my lodging at Pinecrest Chalet?

A: We recommend booking as soon as we share the reservation code. Rooms are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a 2-night minimum stay.

Q: How do I reserve a room at Pinecrest Chalet?

A: Once we finalize our arrangements, we'll post a reservation code and link right here on the site. You’ll be able to book online using the code or call Pinecrest Chalet directly to make your reservation.

Q: Are the cabins private or shared?

A: Most cabins and chalets are private and vary in size, with options that can sleep 2 to 10+ people. If you're coming with friends or family, consider sharing a larger chalet!

Q: Is camping or RV parking available?

A: Yes, a limited number of RV sites are available at Pinecrest Chalet on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact the Chalet directly to check on availability.

Q: Can I stay somewhere else nearby?

A: Absolutely! While we’d love for everyone to stay at Pinecrest Chalet, there are other lodging options in nearby towns like Strawberry, Mi-Wuk Village, and Twain Harte.

Q: Will transportation be provided to and from the venue?

A: No, guests will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the venue. Once on-site, Pinecrest Chalet will have staff assisting with golf carts to help guests get around during the event.

Q: What is the dress code?

A: [Insert your answer here — for example: "Mountain formal" or "Dressy casual — keep in mind we’ll be outdoors, so choose shoes that are comfortable for walking on grass and gravel."]

Q: Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

A: Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors at the Creekside Amphitheater. We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl as it can get chilly in the evenings.

Q: What’s the weather like in Pinecrest?

A: June in Pinecrest is usually sunny and mild during the day, with average highs in the 70s and cooler evenings in the 50s. We suggest checking the forecast a few days before traveling and packing layers just in case.

Q: Can I bring my kids?

A: Yes! Our wedding is kid-friendly, and there’s plenty for little ones to enjoy at Pinecrest.

Q: What is there to do nearby?

A: Tons! Pinecrest Lake is just minutes away and offers hiking, swimming, boat rentals, and more. Check out our “Things to Do” page for ideas!

Q: Will food be provided during the weekend?

A: Dinner and dessert will be provided at the wedding reception. Outside of that, guests are welcome to bring food, cook in their cabins, or explore local dining options nearby.

Q: What happens if I need to cancel my reservation?

A: Guests are responsible for their own bookings and should contact Pinecrest Chalet directly for their cancellation policy.
