Brett asked Paige to Homecoming, hardly knowing each other, after Paige moved to Sycamore

One dance turned into several more. Despite Brett's Bleached Mohawk Era, Paige did continue to willingly date Brett throughout High School

Brett went off to Illinois State and Paige to University of Kentucky. The next four years included several drives between BloNo and Lexington, trips to the U.P. on summer & winter breaks, and whatever else we could sprinkle in there on college kids' budgets.

Big travel years. Filled with lots of airport pick-ups/drop-offs (some with chauffeur signs included) to Kentucky, Boston, Denver, & several places in-between. Most notably was the time Brett thought he'd try to join the ranks of Lewis and Clark while driving Paige to a random airport in Wisconsin, intentionally not using GPS. Unfortunately for Brett, they're still known as "Lewis and Clark", not "Lewis, Clark, and Brett". Fortunately for Brett, Paige made her flight.

We decided it was time to see each other more than once every six weeks. Moved in together, saw some of our best friends get married, got engaged ourselves, and now planning a party to celebrate with all of our people!
