Our Wedding

Daxton & I met at his brother’s wedding, where he was the best man and I was there to support his sister-in-law. Daxton and I’s first date was at McAlisters after Estelle and Lawson’s wedding reception! 

The Day We Met

<p>Daxton and I spent this last year going on many dates in Stillwater and Yukon and spent many weekends driving back and forth to see each other. One of our favorite dates was when Daxton took me up in the lift that he uses for work, and we were able to watch the sunrise and enjoy the view together. Our favorite place to be together is on the lake at Lake Eufala, where we have made so many memories together. We are so thankful to be in the same city and to have found a church in Yukon (Together We) as we start this new chapter of life together.</p>

Our Relationship

<p>While I was on a mission trip in Italy this summer, Daxton was back home planning the proposal. I had only been home for a few days when he planned a date for us to go to our favorite restaurant downtown, Teller's. While we were leaving his house to go downtown, he told me that he needed to stop by a place to do a tree estimate for his brother. As we walked to the "estimate", there was a path laid out with photos of us from all of our favorite memories  since we started dating. We got to go down memory lane, and at the end of the path was a ring and bible engraved with my new last name waiting for us. After Daxton proposed, we celebrated at Teller's and it was a special night for the both of us!</p>
