Our Wedding

We met in 2013 while both working at the mall, Taylor worked at Sunglass Hut and I worked at Spencer’s. Through a mutual acquaintance (Paige’s manager at Spencer’s) we became good friends, with us eventually working together at Sunglass Hut. After spending more time together we realized there was definitely something there beyond a friendship. On Sweetest’s Day that year we went on our first date (Taylor brought me roses, it was VERY sweet), and on November 11th, 2013 we became an “official couple”!

How We Met

After we became official, we were both very much all in. Coming up on a decade together (next year!) we have grown so much both individually and as a couple. We’ve lived in 6 homes, changed careers, adopted a dog together, added 2 cats to the family, bought a house, visited numerous states, seen each other at our best and our worst, and been each other’s biggest fans through everything.

How We Grew

In the summer of 2020 we had a trip planned for an all-inclusive vacation in the Dominican Republic (little did I know Taylor already had the ring and was planning to propose while on vacation), but COVID forced us to cancel. One mid-July evening we were getting ready to go out and meet up with some friends and as we were about to walk out the door Taylor asked if I wanted to put some jewelry on. I thought it was odd and told him I was okay. He pulled out a ring from his pocket and asked if I wanted to wear that. He got down on one knee in our living room and asked if I would marry him, and obviously I said YES!

Timeline

Call to book room in our wedding block and to receive the booking rate above. The block reservations are only open until August 9th.

Comfort Inn & Suites

Check in is not until 3PM and the shuttle will not be available before the ceremony.

Shuttling from Comfort Inn to Columbia Woodlands will be available after the ceremony/before the reception from at 4:30PM, 5PM and 5:30PM.

Shuttling back to Comfort Inn from Columbia Woodlands will be available after the reception from 10PM - 11PM.
