The dress code is black tie optional. For men, we suggest a black, navy, or dark grey suit or blazer with pants. For women, a dress, jumpsuit, or dressy separates would all work. We invite you to join us in wearing our wedding colors, which include pink, mauve, earth-tone greens, and navy. We ask that you avoid wearing any shades of white or extremely vibrant colors for pictures.

The venue is a historic Spotsylvania Court House Battlefield, and the ceremony will be outdoors. We recommend that ladies swap out heels for flats or short-block heels.

We will have clear umbrellas available in the event of rain. Cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.

Please plan on arriving between 4:00 and 4:15 to give yourself time to park and find a seat before the ceremony begins at 4:30.

We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos the rest of the night! We will provide a QR code at the reception for you to upload all your photos to share! Yes, there will be an open bar for beer/wine and a cash bar for liquor at the wedding! Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.

Transportation to and from the events will not be provided; however, the ceremony and reception are in the same location, and there is plenty of parking available.
