Where does a modern Christian couple meet? On dating apps of course! Paige and Will met in May of 2024 after matching on a dating app and Will following up to ask her on a date on social media when she got too busy to keep up with the app . On a hot Texas summer’s night they went to the local Cidercade and had so much fun they decided to go to a second “bar-cade”. Following their first date William consistently courted Paige taking her on fun adventures around Austin. All of this culminated into a trip to the Texas coast together with his friends where he officially asked her to be his girlfriend. On this trip they got to celebrate their new relationship with friends and enjoy the salty air with their people. From there the couple went to meet Paige’s family for the first time and the big introduction to them and Paige’s best friends went down. Safe to say, everyone approved! As summer turned to fall, Paige got to see a new side of Will…his Aggie side! Going to college football games with Will’s family was the highlight of this season of their relationship. Long road trips including too many stops at Buccees, singing at the top of their lungs, and getting hyped up for another day at College Station made the experience memorable and a staple. Will and Paige’s love continued to grow as fall turned into winter in Austin, Texas. Their love for music turned into going to live local shows. Their love for nerdy things turned into movie nights featuring a Lego set to create with. But with the holidays approaching, their biggest celebration of the year would approach…Will’s birthday. Paige worked hard to gather the troops and set up a photo scavenger hunt in the domain. It was truly a night to remember with photos everyone should probably delete from their phones. After Will’s birthday the holidays hit and they enjoyed a perfect staycation in Dallas before celebrating with their families. The couple continued to explore their love of travel after the holidays. With trips to Dallas for weddings, Naples for Easter with Paige’s family and to San Antonio to celebrate friends; life was all gas, no brakes. Through this busy season they continued to be there for each other and enjoy the adventure. As many of y’all probably know, Paige hates surprises and is a big planner. This is what made the soon-to-be proposal season of their relationship interesting. With ring shopping, looking at potential venues, and literally telling William where to propose to her, things were in full swing in the summer of 2025. Not to mention with the upcoming celebration of Paige’s Nana’s 80th birthday in Bermuda… travel was on the books again. The couple celebrated the 4th of July with Paige’s family the day before the proposal. At this point it was too late for Will to run away after meeting over a dozen of her family members. They enjoyed a bonfire and fireworks on the beach at Saquish before heading to Martha’s Vineyard the following morning. Both exhausted from a drive, a ferry ride, a bus ride, and guess what; more driving, they headed to Paige’s family home where Will went to help Paige’s dad with his boat (there was nothing wrong with the boat). That day they went after to explore Oak Bluffs and enjoy the island. Following that they went back home to get ready for dinner. Paige was handed a dress and told “I think you need this now.” To say the least, she was freaking out in a totally normal and not in an over the top super excited way. The couple headed to the spot where years back Paige’s parents got engaged. This was also the spot Paige would pray over and over again in her adolescence for her future husband. They would get engaged there as a true testament to the Lord’s faithfulness and His power to answer prayer. And William was the biggest answer to prayer that Paige could ask for. Throughout every season they strived as a couple to grow closer to each other and closer to God. Attending church weekly, enjoying our small group, and Will shredding on guitar at youth ministry and during service became not just a habit but a foundation of their relationship. They are so blessed to be surrounded by such an amazing community of Christians that pour into them. Since their engagement Will and Paige have been preparing for married life. With a continued perseverance of work, faith, friendship and family; they are excited for the next chapter… and all the chapters that follow. The Lord has blessed them with this story but they aren’t even close to finishing it yet and they are excited to invite you to come alongside them in the chapters to come!
