Paige and Mike met on eHarmony, and connected over shared taste in novels, life goals, and love of downhill skiing! Our first date was walking around the Battle Creek Dog Park with Mike’s two dogs for over three hours. We obviously enjoyed our time together! Paige arrived at the second date with a serious list of questions and that set the tone for our journey together. We discussed our values, our goals, our triumphs and our struggles. We had many deep discussions over walks, meals, and events out together. We discussed our faith, and explored local churches ourselves or with family and friends. There is a raw honesty to our communication that is refreshing, wholesome, and precious.

It did not take long for a vision of our future together to form and we became engaged at Mt. Hermon Camp in the California Redwoods June 2024.

Since then we have been to Utah to participate in a friends wedding and had a week of adventure together on the way; we have started premarital counseling with the church, learning excellent tools to foster a lifelong bond through growth together and with God; we have even been skiing together at Welch Village several times - a passion for both of us! We look forward to the journey of life we will have side by side, and look forward to you joining us for the celebration of our union!
