Our Wedding

Jacob and Paige met through a mutual friend in October 2020. What started as a simple friendship quickly became a routine as Jacob would stop by Paige’s apartment after finishing his graveyard shifts or spend time with her in the evenings before heading to work. Before long, they were spending so much time together that it started to look a lot like dating… even if neither of them had officially said it yet.After a few months, a friend finally asked the question everyone else was already wondering: “So… are you two going to date or what?” The question came over the phone on November 26, 2020, while Jacob was visiting a friend in California. With that little push from a friend, their relationship officially began. In June 2021, Jacob and Paige moved in together for the first time, renting a home with roommates. They lived there until 2023, when they took another big step and bought their first home together in December of that year.Somewhere along the way, they also discovered a shared love for cats, which may have escalated a little… because their family now includes eight of them. At this point, Jacob and Paige like to think they don’t own the cats, the cats own them. Jacob began working on the ring in 2023, where he and his friend Dominic went down to Plush, Oregon to mine the perfect Oregon Sunstone. In April 2024 Jacob took a class on faceting gemstones, where he cut the gem into a round brilliant. After designing, he had the ring commissioned by a jewelry maker and used the gold from a ring Paige's dad gave to her mother for the band. Jacob handcrafted the ring box out of wood and proposed to Paige on May 24th, 2025 Their story continues to bloom and blossom with many additions to their house, fur family, and life. The next chapter is just beginning!

Olivia met Paige at the bus stop near their homes in 7th grade, they connected immediately! They have been friends ever since, which had lead them to their 12 year friend ship.

Cassidy met Paige through mutual friends in 2017. They lived right down the street from each other for numerous years and built many unforgettable memories. 8 years later they are still creating many more long lasting memories!

Jacob and Michael met as kids in the Boy Scouts, where they eventually formed a lasting friendship. Jacob attended many of Michael's family’s annual trips, such as cousin’s camp out, Black Powder rendezvous, and hunting. 

Paige, Jacob, Natalie (another friend), and Michael moved in together in a house in Portland where they lived for 2 years together. Jacob and Michael have remained great friends through these 15 years, and Michael is beloved by us all.

Things to Do

Our celebration will be a little different from a traditional wedding, so choosing what to wear may feel a bit tricky. Since this will be our only event in Oregon where we can celebrate with the people we love, we’re especially excited to capture photos with everyone!Our event will be a wedding shower and reception combined. To help make the occasion feel special in photos, we invite you to dress in semi-formal attire if you’d like. All colors are welcome!
