Paige and Luke's story began way back in 2013 as they were both just beginning their junior year of high school.

The couple first met each other while playing "wingman/wingwoman" for their friends one evening. Who would have guessed that it would actually turn into the first date for Paige and Luke!

After that first night, the two would constantly be texting each other and developed one of the fastest and closest friendships. Luke would show up at all of Paige's volleyball games, so much that his parents were curious why he was spending so much time in California. It was obvious to all their family and friends that they would be much more than friends, and they were!

In the last eight years of dating, Paige and Luke have enjoyed hanging out with friends and family, watching baseball and football, attending college at UCM, and finally moving in together while starting their careers.

On their vacation, July 28th, 2020, Luke surprised Paige on a morning beach walk by getting down on one knee and asking Paige to marry him!

This long, perfect love story is not over, and the couple is very excited to add another chapter as "The Mercer's"
