We are thrilled to announce that both capacity limitations and mask mandates for our wedding have been lifted. Those who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear a mask for our ceremony and reception. For those who are not vaccinated, we ask that you continue wearing a mask indoors to support the safety of our friends and family. The Sacred Heart Basilica will still offer two sections at our ceremony for guests who prefer distanced seating.

FOREVER P & KEE

Keenan and Paige met at local Notre Dame happy hour in Columbus, OH back in October of 2018. Keenan showed up to the happy hour a little bit late and pulled up a chair next to Paige, and before they knew it, they were the last two from their group left in the restaurant. Keenan claimed Paige looked familiar from college but Paige insisted they hadn’t crossed paths on campus. Little did she know, they’d discover 3 months later that they had taken a 25-person Foundations of Theology course together in Fall of 2015.&nbsp;Evidently Keenan was just too nervous to make a move.

The day after they met, Paige received a text from Keenan asking if she and her friends had any interest in Ohio State Football tickets for the game that Saturday...smooth right? Despite only meeting Keenan once and being more of a Domer than a Buckeye at the time, Paige said yes knowing a few of her friends would jump at the chance to go to the game with her. Paige, however, would soon find out that her friends tickets would be in a different section, while she would be sitting next to Keenan's two childhood best friends, Joe and Will, in the football family section.&nbsp;After listening to four hours of hard-core wing manning by Joe and Will, Paige figured this Keenan guy couldn’t be half bad.&nbsp;Luckily for her, she seemed to make a good impression and the boys invited her out with them to celebrate OSU’s win over Minnesota that night.

Keenan invited Paige on their first date in German Village the following week, and the rest was history. Somehow, against all odds, they were able to begin a brand-new relationship in the middle of a college football season. If you know college football, then you know how much of a feat this is.&nbsp;Keenan wasted no time in making their relationship official and asked Paige to be his girlfriend just two weeks after they met. When you know, you know right?

Their journey together over the next few months would become quite the adventure and Paige began to learn what life looks like when you’re dating a college football coach. From the Big Ten Championship in December to the Rose Bowl on New Years to Florida in January to the NFL Draft in March to a California wedding in May to a North Carolina Hiking trip in July, they made the most of every moment they spent together. Before they knew it, Fall Camp was here and it was time to begin their second Buckeye season together.

After a heartbreaking loss to Clemson that winter, Paige and Keenan settled back into their off-season routine. They had openly discussed marriage and their future together, but Keenan took Paige by surprise when he proposed in his backyard on a snowy night in February (right after slipping down his icy steps and falling flat on his back).

The past year and a half has been filled with the challenges and uncertainty created by the pandemic, but one thing that has held constant for Paige and Keenan is their love for each other. They cannot wait to celebrate their marriage with you in July and they are so excited to embark on this new chapter together!

Our Story

Owen is Keenan’s older brother and all-time favorite teammate, who’s serious about travel, barbecue and the Green Bay Packers. Owen serves in the US Army and lives in Savannah, GA.

Molly has been Paige's best friend and partner in crime since the 4th grade. From their awkward middle school days of pixie cuts and glasses to becoming each other's Maid's of Honor, they've been through it all together. Molly now lives in Boston with her Fiance, Phil.

Cole is Paige's oldest brother, and he and Keenan hit it off from the start. Cole is also a Notre Dame alum (Class of '11) and now lives North Carolina with his family, where he is finishing Med School at UNC.  Between Cole's classes, Lane's job as a dentist, and their growing family, their life is can get a little busy at times, but they do an amazing job handling it all!

Lane is Paige's Sister-In-Law, and Paige is so thankful for their close relationship. Lane is a dentist in the USAF and lives in Cary, NC with her husband Cole and daughter, Brynn.   She and Cole just moved into a new home big enough for their growing family (baby girl #2 due in July).  Paige is so happy to have her as sister & a bridesmaid!

Forrest is Paige's middle brother, and the Johnson family loves to joke about how similar he and Keenan are. While they are both serious when they need to be and loyal without end, they also share the  fiery & stubborn middle child personality. After earning his "Double Domer" status at ND (undergrad '14, MBA '15), Forrest moved to Chicago to work for Gatorade. Forrest and Helene had their first child, Leo, in January.

Helene is Paige's sister-in-law and Forrest's wife. Helene started dating Forrest when Paige was in high school, and she was one of the reasons Paige chose to attend Saint Mary's for her first few years of college. Helene was an elementary school teacher in Chicago and now stays home with her son, Leo. "Saint Helene" as the Johnson family likes to say, is an absolute sweetheart and Paige can't imagine getting married without her by her side.

Keenan’s childhood friend and high school teammate, Joe holds the Cardinal Gibbons High School record for career interceptions...thrown. Nowadays, Joe can likely be found cheering on his beloved Villanova Wildcats or in the green side bunker of an Atlanta golf course, where he lives and works.

Madison, Keenan's oldest sister, is a total sweetheart and Paige can't wait to have her as a sister-in-law. After earning her grad degree from Notre Dame, Madison spent two years in the Peace Corp in Cameroon, Africa, where she met her husband, Hugues. Madison and Hugues live in Florida, where they manage the family popcorn business, Popped Passion.

Will is one of Keenan's closest childhood companions. Will and Kee often tailgated, shared laughs over Laspadas subs, and ran half marathons together in their prime. Far from his long-distance running days, Will now lives and works by the ocean in Hawaii.

Will Huskey

Morgan aka "Mo" is Keenan's youngest sister and by far the most artistically talented of the Bailey bunch.  Singing, guitar playing, acting, modeling; you name it, she can do it! Paige is crossing her fingers that some of her musical talent will rub off on her once she's a Bailey.

Likely wearing Buffalo Bills pajamas pants, Conor was one of Keenan’s first ND buddies. Conor is responsible for many of Keenan’s best Notre Dame memories, including Interhall football and Bookstore basketball, and is also to blame for one or two of the scars he earned while in college. Conor currently cheers on the Bills from Chicago, where he works and lives.

Olivia is Paige's younger cousin from Northern California. Despite the distance between them, Paige and Liv have stayed close over the years. Luckily, this California girl was smart enough to realize #MidwestIsBest and traveled all the way to Indiana University for college, so they were able to watch the Buckeyes crush the Hoosiers in Bloomington together.

Trey and Keenan amassed a combined 38-4 record coaching alongside each other for 3 years as Buckeyes. More impressive, these former roommates boast a flawless record of backyard parties and weekly trips to Columbus diners. One more Trey statistic: the self-proclaimed Texan has a career 0-114 record vs Keenan in one-on-one basketball, and has since moved to coach and live in Louisiana.

Alexandra and Paige met during their summer internship at A&F in 2016, and they have lived and worked together in Columbus for the past 3 years.  Alexandra has been one of the biggest P & Kee cheerleaders from day one, and she loves to try and convince Keenan to find a house big enough for all three of them.  Fun Fact: Alexandra's loves to ski and she even teaches lessons at a local ski resort in Columbus.

Ryan is credited with creating the tradition of “Woody Wednesdays”: each Wednesday during the season, after leaving the office, Ryan and Keenan would stop for a midnight drink at Woody’s Tavern, where they'd swap ideas, stories, and laughs. After one season with the Buckeyes, Ryan accepted a position coaching in Nashville, TN, where Paige and Keenan enjoy visiting him and his wife Holly.

Haley and Paige met in 8th grade and have been best friends ever since. Haley is always the life of the party and never fails to put a smile on everyone's face in the room.  In her free time, Haley loves to travel, explore new restaurants, read horoscopes, and listen to her collection of records. Haley works in Marketing for Highlights Magazine in Columbus.

As the oldest niece of the family, Brynn earned the role of Auntie Paige's flower girl. Brynn will be almost 3 when Paige & Keenan get married, and she has brought nothing but pure joy to the family.

Ceremony Parking

*Please allow yourself extra time to park and walk to the Basilica if you are unfamiliar with ND's campus. Directions and parking are described below.* For our ceremony, there are two entry points to campus, highlighted in yellow (main gate, east gate) and 3 parking lots marked in red (Grotto Lot, St. Liam's Lot, Main Building Lot). Parking is free. When you arrive at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, please enter through the door on the right side (closest to the main building).If you enter campus on Notre Dame Avenue, proceed straight until you can turn left on Holy Cross Dr. This will take you to the main gate. Tell the gate attendant that you are going to the Johnson-Bailey Wedding. Continue around on Holy Cross Drive until you pass the lake on your left then turn right into the Grotto Lot (or keep going to St. Liam's Lot). If you enter campus on Wilson Dr, proceed straight until you can turn right on Holy Cross Dr. This will take you to the east gate. Tell the gate attendant that you are going to the Johnson-Bailey Wedding. Follow Holy Cross Dr until you see the parking lots on your left (across from the lake). Embassy Suites Guests: You can walk to the Basilica in about 20 mins or if you are driving, turn right on Angela Blvd and then a quick U turn to head in the opposite direction on Angela. Notre Dame is such a special place to both of us, which is why we chose to plan our wedding back home under the dome. We put together a list of our favorite campus spots in case you find some down time to explore. We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate our marriage in our favorite place with all of our favorite people!

Main Building

After the original administration building was destroyed by a fire in 1879, the Golden Dome was added to the reconstructed building and is re-gilded with fresh gold every 15 years. Atop the dome stands the 19-foot-tall Mary the Mother of God, since “Notre Dame” translates to “Our Lady”. Tradition holds that only ND graduates can walk up the main building’s front steps, so be sure to use the basement entrance otherwise!

Basilica of the Sacred Heart

Completed in 1888 and decorated with 19th century French stained-glass, this Gothic-inspired basilica is the site of Paige and Keenan’s wedding. The couple unknowingly visited the basilica together as students during their Foundations of Theology class. Paige's brother Forrest and his wife Helene also got married at the Basilica in 2016 (pictured above).

The Lakes

Providing a natural edge to campus, St. Joseph’s and St. Mary’s Lake were Paige’s favorite jogging trails during her time at St. Mary’s and Notre Dame.

The Grotto

Located adjacent to The Lakes on campus, this shrine is modeled after the site where Mary appeared to St. Bernadette in France and even contains a small stone from the original grotto. The Grotto is a popular spot for reflection by ND students before important exams and Irish fans before big game days. Both Keenan and Paige visited the grotto often during their time on campus to light a prayer candle.

God Quad

This picturesque area marks the heart of Notre Dame’s campus and enforces a strict “keep off the grass” policy. Legend has it that current students who walk on the green grass of God Quad won’t graduate.

Hesburgh Library

Notre Dame’s 14-story library with the famous 134-foot Touchdown Jesus mural on the exterior. When the library was built in 1963, it was&nbsp;the largest college library in the world. Paige’s college dorm was right next door, so she often camped out in its popular 2nd floor study area. Keenan rarely studied here, but he and his buddies narrowly made it to graduation after being caught by security drinking beers on the 12th floor.&nbsp;*Disclaimer: The “Hesburgh Challenge” is a traditional Senior Week quest that includes drinking a beer on each floor of the library without getting caught by campus security.&nbsp;

Breen Phillips Hall

“BP” as it’s known to students, is one of Notre Dame’s oldest female dorms and housed Paige during her first year at ND.

Hammes Bookstore

Your one-stop shop for any and every ND souvenir. The Bookstore also hosts the nation’s largest pickup basketball tournament each year. In 2015, Keenan coached the championship squad led by his groomsman Connor, and during their post game celebrations they managed to shatter the tournament trophy. Paige’s team, on the other hand, didn’t make it past the first round.

 O'Neill Family Hall  

&nbsp;Home to “The Angry Mob”, O’Neill’s 4th Floor was Keenan’s home for two years. O’Neill Hall was also home to Father Paul Kolman, who is this weekend’s presider and Keenan’s trusted mentor during his college years.

Notre Dame Stadium

Home to the Fighting Irish, “The House That Rock Built” holds 81,000 football fans. In 2017 the University began the Campus Crossroads expansion project, which added a student center, a recreational complex and academic buildings to the exterior of the stadium.

Frank Eck Stadium

The Johnson family spent many spring days at the ND baseball stadium watching Paige’s two older brothers pitch and catch for the Irish. Between Cole and Forrest’s time playing, the Johnson’s were a part of the program for 8 straight years. Paige and her friends loved to watch Forrest’s games when they were in school together.&nbsp;
