Our Wedding

We met on a dating app (thanks Tinder!) and hit it off right away. We took our time getting to know each other and talked all day every day for several months before meeting. After our first date, we were basically inseparable. From talking to each other every day, to being together every day, we both always knew it just felt right.

We have had so much fun together since we started dating. From learning how to cook together (well, Paige teaching Joel), to traveling all over the country (thanks hockey), to moving in together and renovating our home, we have fallen in love more and more every day. Even the tough times have brought us closer together and taught us to be more patient and kind. We feel so fortunate to have such close friends and family that support us and make this even more fun. We can't wait to see what the future holds as Mr. and Mrs. Plattner!

Airports and Car Rentals  Both Dallas Love Field and Dallas-Fort Worth International airports are about 30-40 minutes away from McKinney. We recommend car rental to get to and from events and activities but Uber and Lyft are available all over DFW as well
