It was a clear dark night, a cold night. When out of the shadows Taylor emerged as Paige's knight in shining armor....Just kidding.

The couple met each other the first week of college at Midland University in Fremont. From there on they went their separate ways, running into each other here and there. After college Paige found a career in Fremont, at Blazer Athletics, and Taylor went off to basic training. On Taylor's first visit back to Nebraska, since he had left for the Army, the couple ran into each other again at a lunch with mutual friends. Little did Paige know, Taylor had sent her a SnapChat the day prior telling her she was cute. Paige opened the message at the lunch as they sat directly across from each other. That was the start of it all. The couple starting FaceTiming regularly after that and talking daily. On January 11th 2020 Taylor asked her to be his girlfriend and she actually said yes!

The couple knew that the distance from Louisiana to Nebraska would be a challenge. They went to see each other as much as they could for the next few years. Taylor and Paige knew if they could make it through long distance, then they could make it through anything.

Taylor called Dave (her father) to ask his permission to marry his daughter, and he said yes. Dave likes to tell the story like a fishing story as it grows each time he tells it. Taylor bought a ring and proposed to her at the same restaurant that the two had the lunch with their mutual friends a few years prior. To Taylor's surprise, Paige said "Well Duh!" when he asked her to marry him.

The two were engaged for about a year while Taylor was still in Louisiana, till he finally moved home for good. That's when they were able to start planning the big day together!

Taylor and Paige live in Fremont, and have an Australian Sheppard together named Wrigley. That leads us to the BIG DAY!!
