Brett and Paige went to Osbourn Park High School together and graduated in 2013. Many years after graduation, on March 12, 2022, they were out with mutual friends and reconnected during the St. Patrick’s Day festivities at the famous “pub” in Manassas. Following that weekend they hung out pretty much every weekend and when Brett wasn’t on shift work during the week.
In April 2022, Paige was going to Florida to the Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale with the headliner Morgan Wallen. The friend she planned to attend the concert with canceled the day before the concert started. Brett decided to catch a 3am flight and head down to Florida to be with Paige to attend the music festival. During Morgan Wallen’s performance on April 8th, 2022, Brett asked Paige to be his girlfriend. Following that day they have made many trips together including Avon, North Carolina with family; South Florida to see Paige’s sister, brother, nephew and aunt, and on a Caribbean Cruise. Brett and Paige realized how much they enjoyed spending time together.
In November of 2022, to much surprise, Paige found out she was expecting a child. Pregnancy was a journey in itself, scary and exciting all at once. The pregnancy drew Paige and Brett closer together. They were excited to welcome the new little one and become a family of three (unless you count the horses, donkey, cats and dogs at their farm.)
On July 9th, 2023, Jaxton James Gatlin was born. The best day of both Paige and Brett’s life. They knew their lives would be changed (for the better) forever.
On September 22, 2023, while on a trip to Ocean City, Maryland, Brett asked Paige to marry him. He proposed at Paige’s favorite beach hangout ‘Seacrets’.
Now Paige and Brett want to make that forever together official and get married August 31, 2024.
