In February 2023, it all began with a headset and a Call of Duty match. What started as a discord group of friends in the virtual battlefield, soon became something more (kudos to Kevin or Courtney?). Between the teamwork, banter, and late-night gaming sessions, a connection sparked. Even through the sound of bullets and strategies, conversations drifted to favorite movies, shared love of football, and life outside the game.

By June 2023, it was time to take the next step. We finally met in person after countless hours spent facetiming, calling, and gaming. In that moment, everything clicked. We weren't just Call of Duty teammates anymore- we were something more. From that day on, walks with Luna, became a part of our routine, as did cheering on our favorite football teams- though our rivalry runs deep, with Adam standing by his Greenbay Packers and my never-ending support for the Buffalo Bills.

Through the summer and fall, Adam was a supportive boyfriend helping and traveling with me during my travel lacrosse seasons. We continued to spend countless hours gaming, watching movies, and exploring life together. Every Buffalo Bills game became a highlight, even if we didn't always agree on which team to cheer for. But one game stood out above the rest.

In December 2024, we attended a Buffalo Bills game vs. The New England Patriots. It was a frigid and cold day, as we tailgated with our loved ones. Next thing I knew, I caught a dime thrown by Adam, that had the question.. I read the football and saw Adam down on one knee. The excitement of tailgaiters around us soon caught on and we will never forget the love and excitement shared with Bills Mafia.

Now, engaged and excited for the future, we continue our adventures with Luna, gaming, watching movies, and walking hand in hand- forever teammates in love and life.
