We've decided the best way to be true to ourselves and honor our relationship is to keep things intimate and out in nature. Neither of us have ever enjoyed being the center of attention for too long, and big parties aren't really our scene.

When we started thinking about what we wanted our wedding to look like, we wanted something that felt like some of our favorite moments together. Our favorite things to do all seem to have one thing in common: being out in nature. All of our favorite memories seem to involve loading up the car, driving out into the mountains, setting up camp, and adventuring around before settling in to have a fire. We want to incorporate as much of that as possible into our wedding, since those are some of the moments when we feel the closest to each other.

This is why we are planning on getting married on a hiking trail, surrounded by forest with the Rocky Mountains behind us.
