Our Wedding

It was love at first swipe. She was approximately the 15th swipe right of the night. It took a few days for her to swipe right back. I started the conversation with a joke (curtesy of the infamous Ed Lieb dad jokes), that Paige looked up to answer. From there we met at Primantis for a beer, where I ordered a Blue Moon, and she had to one up me by ordering a Yuengling. From there, it led to a quick second date, then a third. And I soon knew she was the one, even if she went on a few more dates to ensure I was the one. It was during our trip with my family from Alabama, to Nashville, then Kentucky, that I knew she was something special. From our night watching shooting stars to our countless trips to Lowes and Home Depot deciding on cabinets, paint, and countertops, our time together has been full of laughs and countless memories. And I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with Paige, and tackle lifes challenges together. (Pictured above: Our favorite date under shooting stars).

Zack's Story

Have you ever heard of Doom Scrolling? Our relationship started with Doom Swiping.... aka Tinder. Zack sent me a message with a horrible dad joke asking me if I knew the difference between a boy ant or a girl ant. I answered quickly (after I googled the answer so I wouldnt look stupid) and he responded 3 to 5 business days later with an annoyed response that I had to have looked it up. To quickly save myself, I asked him to grab a beer with me at Primantis sight unseen without a proper FBI style stocking online. Once he agreed to the date, I asked him for his social media handles to confirm he wasnt a serial killer. After we had our first beer, he shook my hand in the parking lot and arranged for a second date. I give him props because he never left a date without planning another one with me. It was on our third date (the one Ava crashed) to see the Tomahawks play that I decided I would keep him around. Fast forward to our trip to Alabama, Kentucky, and Tennessee where I knew he was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I remember calling my mom in the lobby of the hotel telling her all the details and that he was the one. Butterflies came on fast on that trip and haven’t left. He is the kindest and most patient man I know and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with him. (Pictured above: Our trip to Kentucky, Alabama, and Tennessee).

Paige's Story

The night before our engagement, I concluded my summer as wedding singer and let loose. Some might say too much. So did Zack… he spent the night sick as a dog. The next morning, he was convinced we needed to go to 8:00 mass despite being white as a ghost. You know he was down bad when he made me drive to church. Somehow he had a miraculous recovery (he must have prayed extra hard at mass) because he rallied on the way out the door and wanted to go hiking at Chimney Rocks (at this point I wasn’t convinced he was ready for a hike but I rolled with it). He told me he would be okay as long as he had some Sheetz Hashbrowns and a Pedialyte. We went to my apartment to change into hiking clothes where he questioned my outfit of choice… an oversized Pittsburgh Penguin’s shirt and leggings. He said, “Are you sure you want to wear that?” I was insulted and responded shortly that we were going hiking and I was going to wear the T-shirt. After a back and forth, I finally changed and am forever grateful I listened to his advice. At that point, I was a little suspicious that he might propose, but again, I just rolled with it. When we got to Chimney Rocks, we didn’t take the easy trail… we were sweating and breathing heavy by the time we reached the top. Did I mention I fell down going up the trail? Typical Paige. Anyways, we stopped to take a breath and take in the sights at the lookout. I turned to walk away and Zack told me to come back. I turned back to find him on his knee. This was the happiest day of my (our) life to this date.

Paige's best friend. We have been inseparable since birth! Our parents took baptismal classes together and the rest was history. Hannah has been my side for every part of my life and I couldn't as for a better, kinder friend.

Paige's cousin. We go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly. Growing up 13 days apart was the biggest blessing, I got a built in sister and best friend. Ally is my go to for medical questions, concert knowledge, and anything related to the ocean.

Paige's cousin. Yet another built-in sister... we have spent countless late nights talking and giggling. Em is my crafty cousin - if you see me wearing cool jewelry, Em probably made it. Did I mention we share a love of carrot cake? We're always open to suggestions of where to get the best slice!

Paige's cousin. Did I mention built-in sister? Despite being the youngest cousin, I know I can always count on Elly. When I came home from college, Elly was still in HS. It was then, we got to hang out more and I am so glad for our time together. I know I can always count on Elly to keep me up to date with all things Broadway.

Paige's Friend. We have been friends since 6th grade. We became Pen Pal's to help with the transition from Elementary to Jr. High and have since built a friendship that will last a lifetime.

Paige's friend. We met in baby massage class.... bougee from the start lol. Massage class was just the start - from swim lessons to swim team to boating and girl's club, I couldn't ask for a sweeter friend. 

Micaleigh Noll

Paige's friend. We became friend's during our Freshman year of college when Isabella brought her home (they were roommates). Funny enough, HC had been part of my entire life as she had gone to school with my cousin Ally and always done things together.

Paige's Friend. We met in the production of The Music Man in Junior High. It took us a few shows to become friends aka high school, but now I have my built-in theater bestie! Most recently, Anne directed She Loves Me at the Mishler and I was in the cast.

Annie Diminick

Zack's oldest, younger sister. When Zack and I started dating, Bre was like a unicorn to me... she was in Iowa and I had only ever heard of her. I really got to know her on our trip  to Alabama, Kentucky, and Tennessee and I am so excited to call her my sister-in-law.

Zack's sister. I think Brooke was the first sister Zack mentioned to me and he kept saying how much I would love her! We share a common love of Crab Rangoon, Sushi, and Chai Tea Lattes. I know I can always count on Brooke.

Zack's sister and occasional roommate (only when on call). Rachel not only is kind, but is outgoing and so fun! I can always count on Rachel to help me cook dinner or hit the dance floor. Did I mention she is a pro at washing dishes? She can stay at Tubby's any time!

Zack's sister. Ava never fails to make me laugh. She always has something witty and clever to say. Ava actually crashed our third date at the Tomahawks. I don't think I have ever seen someone run as fast as she did to our car. Not sure if any creeper pictures exist from that day, but she is the first Lieb I met.

Zack's youngest sister. Ally is a ray of sunshine and kindness follows her! Whenever I am baking or cooking, Ally is always there to help and keep me company and I am so appreciative of her. She's always willing to go along with my crazy ideas.

Zack's sister-in-law. I like to call us the "outlaws." I am so grateful to have Ashley by my side navigating Lieb Life. Since I started dating Tubby, it's been "Frank and Matt" together. She's helped me remember the countless cousins, aunts, and uncles.

We celebrated our engagement at Levity for brunch shortly after Zack proposed. You can catch us there on Wednesday nights for Trivia with my friends.
