Joel and Paige's story began their Freshman year of College at Pittsburg State University, where they were neighbors at the Crimson Common dorms. After becoming acquaintances the first semester, Joel asked Paige to dinner in February 2021. Their first date was at Buffalo Wild Wings, where Paige did not shy away from a plate full of wings and good conversation. Joel and Paige became inseparable, spending their free time driving the back roads of Southeast Kansas, chasing sunsets, and making memories that they continue to cherish.

After their summer of long distance, they were both ecstatic to be back together in Pittsburg for their second year of college. Paige started her first year of nursing school, and Joel dove deeper into his Construction Management Degree. As football season began, they spent many weekends driving to Wellsville to watch her brother Dylan play football, growing closer with her friends and family. When winter neared, new memories emerged when Joel introduced Paige to his favorite hobby, duck hunting. Paige found her place in the blind and loved every minute. When summer came around, they spent many weekends at Lake of the Ozarks and Grand Lake, soaking up the sun and enjoying each other's company.

Finally, their last year of college rolled around. With full-time job offers under their belts, Paige and Joel were ready to take on the year. In March of 2023, the couple decided to bring a furry friend into the mix, getting their German Wirehaired Griffon pup named Gus. Gus quickly became one of the most important things in their life, bringing a whole new adventure to them.

After graduation, their next phase of life started as they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Paige now works as a NICU nurse at Hillcrest Medical Center, and Joel works for Lithko Contracting as a Project Engineer. On October 7th Joel popped the question asking Paige to marry him. Of course, she said Yes! Since that day, they have continued to grow closer together and in love in this new stage of life.

Paige and Joel are thrilled to have everyone celebrate their special day on September 21st, 2024, where they will join as one in the mountains of Grand Lake, Colorado.
