Where are the wedding and reception located?

The wedding and reception are both located at the Grand Galvez Hotel (2024 Seawall Blvd., Galveston, TX 77550

What is the best way to get to and from the wedding and reception venue?

Highly suggest Uber or Lyft to the hotel for the wedding and reception. There is a parking garage next to the hotel or valet services. Carpooling is highly encouraged. There are a limited number of spots along the Seawall in front of the hotel between 12th St. and 19th St. that are free.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our venue has both options available so this is dependent on the weather on the day. If it is a rare pleasant June day in Galveston, we would love to have an outdoor ceremony. For our friends not used to the Texas heat, please feel free to bring small handheld fans, but please refrain from large umbrellas that may cause distractions and obscure other guests.

What is the wedding dress code?

Black Tie Preferred. This would be preferably tuxedos or suits for the gentlemen and long dresses for the ladies.

Are there any colors or styles you would prefer me to wear?

We would love to see fun summer colors! Anything but white!

What is the weather like in the area?

HOT!! June temperatures average between 86 and 77 in Galveston. The reception will be indoors so please do not worry about overheating on the dance floor.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Unless otherwise stated on the wedding invitation, please refrain from bringing a plus one.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

We love kids but due to space constraints we ask that you please refrain from brining children under the age of 12 to the wedding. Your wedding RSVP will specify how many are invited to attend.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We ask that you please refrain from photos during the ceremony as we have hired professional photographers to document and we do not want to distract from the moment. Please feel free to take as many photos as you would like during the cocktail hour and reception.
