Our Story

Owen and Paige met on September 4th of 2022. The first thing Owen noticed was the decorations in the apartment as he walked in, that indicated it was someone's birthday. Paige walked out of her room in her sparkly dress and expressed in an enthusiastic way that it was her birthday. Oddly enough Owen's sister shared the same birthday as Paige, he insisted to buy all Paige's drinks that night. Almost every weekend after that Owen and Paige visited each other every weekend. On November 13th of 2022 Owen and Paige went on a beach date and they carved a heart in the sand and Owen asked Paige to be his girlfriend. A year later Owen separated from the military and Paige decided to move back to Iowa with him. Paige continued her education to get her RN at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. On May 11th of 2024 Owen and Paige got engaged. Owen asked Paige on a bridge with his sister and her husband close by and said "You know what is better than getting a dog" and got on one knee, pulled out a ring, and asked Paige to marry him.

Autumn has played an important role in both Owen and Paige's lives. Autumn is one of Paige's best friends and they enjoy getting coffee, reading books, and doing whatever types of activities together.

This hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to the venue. During Christmas time the streets of downtown St. Augustine do get really busy, so this hotel is perfect for guest who do not want to worry about parking/ driving.

Victorian House Bed & Breakfast

This hotel is around a 6 minute walk form the venue, it is perfect for guests to not have to worry about driving and waiting in traffic. Please be mindful when booking hotels they are walking distance to the venue or you can uber due to the little amount of parking we have at the venue.

Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront

This hotel is a few blocks down from the venue but still in the historic area of St. Augustine. It is about a 6 minute drive but a 23 minute walk. We ask all guest to Uber to venue or walk.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel St. Augustine Historic District

This hotel is around the same distance as the Doubletree. It is a 7 minute drive and a 25 minute walk. Again please be mindful of our scant amount of parking at the venue.

Hampton Inn St. Augustine Downtown Historic District

Cute little historic hotel. Is a less that 5 minute walk from the venue! Is right next to the Lightner Museum and can see the Christmas lights!
