It was October 14th 2020, when we decided to meet for the first time after texting for a few days. We found each other online and had been texting constantly ! We just felt we had so much connection, trust, and understanding from the very start. Saratoga Spa State Park is a very rememberable and favorable spot for us as it was the place we first met face to face. I immediately felt so close to Jake and walked right by his side. He led me through the trails that I would of definitely got lost on alone. We spoke about our family’s and our college. We decided to be childish and swing on the swings at 9pm next to the creek. We guessed each other birthdays also like little kids. After, we laid in a field and it was my first time seeing not only one but two shooting stars. I will remember that night the rest of my life. I had butterflies for days after first meeting jake and couldn’t wait to see him again.
