The bars on Lower Broadway are the top attraction in Nashville for good reason. Walk down Broadway between the Bridgestone Arena and the River, and you'll see that Music City lives up to its name with an incredible level of musicianship spilling out of the windows of the Nashville Broadway bars. Ryan prefers spending his time on Broadway at Tootsie's (an old classic), while Paige loves spending time at 5th and Broadway shopping.
Ryman Auditorium is a historic 2,362-seat live-performance venue, and the couples favorite place to catch a concert.
With chic restaurants in restored Victorian buildings, and cafes along the brick sidewalks, Germantown exudes period charm. The couple would recommend several great eateries their such as Von Elrod's, Neighbors, and Jonathans.
Find fresh produce, artisanal food, restaurants, shops and crafts at the year-round Nashville Farmers’ Market. The couple loves to spend their summer Saturdays here!
The Tennessee State Capitol stands today much as it did when it first opened in 1859, and is a magnificent tribute to the people of Tennessee. The Capitol welcomes visitors for guided and self-guided tours.
An embarrassing amount of tacos have been consumed by the bride and groom from Velvet Taco.
Although the groom can't eat chicken and the bride has never had it... Hattie B's is a Nashville staple and comes highly recommended.
Some might call it the Harvard of the South, others simply call it Vanderbilt. Feel free to walk around Ryan's alma mater where he obtained his master's in Special Education. All jokes aside it's a beautiful campus, and I'm proud of Ryan's accomplishments.
Shameless plug for Lipscomb University- - Paige's alma mater and current employer -- she may not be mighty, but she is fierce.
The Warner Parks are one of the largest municipally administered parks in Tennessee, and together span more than 3,100 acres of forest and field, 9 miles from downtown Nashville.
Centennial Park is one of Nashville's premier parks. Located on West End and 25th Avenue North, the 132-acre features: the iconic Parthenon, a one-mile walking trail, Lake Watauga, the Centennial Art Center, historical monuments, an arts activity center, a beautiful sunken garden, a band shell, an events shelter, sand volleyball courts, dog park, and an exercise trail. Thousands of people visit the park each year to visit the museum, see exhibits, attend festivals, and just enjoy the beauty of the park. (Also home of the 'Taylor Swift bench' for all our Swifties out there. See song Invisible String for reference)
The couple's favorite date spot and the place that Ryan proposed. Yes, it may be far outside of town, but we HIGHLY recommend it!
Growing up this was the go-to place for a dipped ice cream cone. Still one of the best places to get ice cream (but maybe I'm biased).
