The Grand Mesa is home to the highest concentration of alpine lakes in the state of Colorado, so there is a ton to do and see in the area. You can fish (please be sure to get a fishing license), hike, mountain bike, paddleboard/canoe, drive to some viewpoints, or just relax by one of the hundreds of lakes. We will have some paddleboards/kayaks at the lake by the lodge for folks to use as well as various yard games to play!
WE are a Peach Town with a Wine Problem. Come visit quaint Palisade, where we live - there are a ton of vineyards, but our favorites are Bookcliff Vineyards, Restoration Vineyards and Colterris Vineyards. We also have a brewery and two distilleries that we frequent as well! A fun hike to do in town is the Palisade Lower Rim, which is 3 miles round trip and provides great vistas and even petroglyphs along the way.
