Our Wedding

As some people may not know, our story dates back all the way to elementary school. We have known each other since Kindergarden (including sharing the coolest PE teacher, "Mr. T") and we were friends long before we ever dated. We took a few classes together our Junior year at Cave Spring High School which led to more time spent together. During our Psychology class, Paige mentioned that she would like to come watch a baseball game that season and Griffin quickly informed her when the next home game would be. The game ended (mostly likely with a win), and a whole hour had gone by not only including a long talk on the field but also a full field clean up. Griffin finally made his way up to the stands surprised to see that Paige was still waiting in the stands. Her waiting to talk to him was the first spark of the possibility of more than friendship according to Griffin. It didn't take much longer until he asked if she would want to go to see a movie and without hesitation, she said yes! The movie was 21 Jump Street and despite the fact that it was their first date, Griffin only purchased one ONE ticket. Somehow even after a questionable start (and a football rivalry) Paige still fell for him and the relationship took off quickly. Within a few months, they attended their junior prom and spent an eventful summer together including the first of many family trips. Their history together made for an easy transition into a relationship. Following graduation, Griffin went to EMU to play baseball and Paige stayed closer to home pursuing her dream of attending Virginia Tech. This led to countless baseball games, weekend-long visits and memorable summers spent together in between school. Through lots of growth, a pandemic, &amp; 2 fur babies the official “YES!” came on 10-4-2024 at Carvin's Cove. The best things in life don't come easy, and in our “lucky” 13th year together, we will officially say “I do” !!! We can't wait to celebrate with all of our friend's and family!
