Paige and Jacek met in 2021 through mutual friends while both attending Creighton University School of Dentistry. With Paige starting dental school during the COVID pandemic in 2020, the social events at school had dwindled and her class had not had the opportunity to interact with any of the other dental classes at the time. One weekend in January of 2021, some of the second-year dental students had invited some of the first-year dental students to a gathering, which is where Paige and Jacek ended up meeting. From that night on, Paige and Jacek kept in contact with each other. Paige would ask Jacek for as many tips, tricks, and study materials as she could while navigating the end of her first year of dental school. After many months of study dates and study breaks (featuring many meals and treats made by Paige), Jacek decided he wanted to make things official with Paige. They started dating in May of 2021 despite Paige's hesitation that having a boyfriend during her hardest year of dental school may not be the best idea! As it turned out, Jacek was the biggest help and cheerleader for Paige as she navigated her second-year of dental school. Looking back, Paige isn't sure she would have survived that year without him by her side.As both Paige and Jacek continued their studies, many trips to North Dakota and Chicago were made to see each other's families. They also made time for the College World Series in Omaha every summer, which has now become their favorite 2 weeks of the summer in Omaha. Oh, and how could they forget, they both had the opportunity to be patients for each other to fulfill their clinical requirements at school!When Jacek graduated dental school in 2023, he decided to find a job as a dentist in Omaha for one year while Paige finished her final year of dental school. Although the couple thought they would leave Omaha following Paige's graduation, Jacek was finding his niche at the practice he was working at, so Paige decided to look for a job in the Omaha area. Through one of her professors at Creighton, Paige found a wonderful opportunity at a practice that was planning to expand their office in Council Bluffs. Paige graduated from Creighton in May of 2024, and started working at the practice in Council Bluffs in July of 2024.As 2024 was coming to a close, Jacek asked Paige if she wanted to go on vacation and suggested going to Maui, Hawaii for a week. They traveled to Maui right after the new year and escaped the midwest winter for a week. After several delayed flights, they made it to Maui, only to discover the airline had lost Paige's suitcase. The trip was not off to a good start, and Paige only had a swimsuit and one outfit to pick from! The entire first day on the island, Paige was worried about the airline finding her bag and getting it back. With other things on her mind, a proposal was the last thing she expected would happen, but much to her surprise, Jacek popped the question that evening during the sunset at Haleakala National Park. Paige said yes, and shortly after the proposal, her lost suitcase arrived at the airport! The two enjoyed the remainder of their week in Maui celebrating their engagement and exploring the lovely island of Maui.Since their engagement, Paige and Jacek have continued working at their respective practices in Council Bluffs and Omaha. They plan to purchase their first home in the area soon. In their free time, they enjoy traveling whenever possible. Together, they have traveled to 17 states and 1 country. They look forward to welcoming their friends and family to the Omaha area where their love story began as they celebrate their marriage and future together!

Courtyard by Marriott Omaha La Vista

A complimentary shuttle will be available to bring guests to the venue prior to the ceremony at approximately 3 PM and 4 PM. The shuttle will pick up at the Hampton Inn and Courtyard by Marriott in La Vista, NE where we have reserved rooms. The shuttle will also return guests from the venue back to the hotels at approximately 9:30 PM, 10:30 PM, and 11:30 PM. PLEASE NOTE: Uber/Lyft are unreliable in the area of our venue. There is plenty of parking available at the golf club, and you can leave your car overnight if needed. We also encourage carpooling if possible!
