Our Wedding

It all started at the Pennsylvania State University (Penn State). Eric was a Pennsylvania born and raised stud on the powerlifting team, Paige was Hawaii born and raised island girl just looking for a private gym to work out in while she studied. One day, Eric noticed a new babe in his domain and decided she should be aware of his presence. Once notified of said stud, Paige seemed interested, and Eric then began to woo Paige; taking her on small dates, helping with Paige’s THON events, cooking, and lifting weights together. Paige did not stand a chance. After 4 months of dating, Eric graduated and got a job in Washington DC; but, Paige had another two years left at Penn State. The couple decided that no matter the cost, they were not willing to give up what they had together. During that time, Eric and Paige dated long distance, taking turns commuting between Penn State and Washington DC; and facetiming daily. Eric received one Saturday off per month from his job and spent every one to see Paige. Paige endured the hot and smelly 6-hour bus ride each way numerous times to visit Eric. During the summers, Paige would go back to Hawaii, and the couple would not see each other from June till September. After two and a half years, Eric had relocated and bought a house in Baltimore, Paige got a local job and moved in. The couple was finally together again. From then on, the couple lived, grew, and raised their puppy Toaster together. Falling more and more in love each day. Eight years later, we are so excited to be getting married and cannot wait to share the start of this next chapter of our lives with you!

Hawaii has some of the best beaches in the world with soft sand and clear water. Nothing is better than enjoying a Poke Bowl on the beach. Always remember to Mālama ʻĀina (take care of the land) and leave it better than you found it. Here are a couple of my favorites, ranked from closest to furthest from the venue. 1. Kahala Beach - Hidden Gem. 2. Magic Island - Calm lagoon with a beautiful view of Waikiki. 3. Snorkeling at Hanauma Bay - Tickets must be reserved at the Parks and Recreation Website 2 days in advance. The ticket platform opens starting at 7am HST and often sells out within 5 minutes. 4. Sherwoods Beach - All around great beach. 5. Lanikai Beach - Stunning sunrise beach. 6. Waimea Bay - Another all around great beach. Rock jumping. 7. Sunset Beach - End your day in the North Shore and catch the iconic Hawaii sunset.

Paige's Favorite Beaches

It doesn't matter where you buy these, they are all great!: 1. Manapua - Fluffy buns filled with pork/chicken/beef. (dont get this at 7-Eleven.)2. Spam Musubi - the ones at 7-Eleven are as good as anywhere else. Also don't turn down the opportunity to have spam fried rice if you see it!3. Ahi Poke - Get this at any grocery store in Hawaii; specifically Times Supermarket, and Foodland are known to be good spots.4. Shoyu Pork - This tends to be served in a plate lunch style.5. Locomoco - This is usually a breakfast food, consisting of rice, hamburger patty, egg, and gravy.6. Malasadas - Portuguese-style donuts that are deep-fried, coated in sugar, with filling.7. Shave Ice - A classic light treat for a hot day. My favorite place is Matsumoto Shave Ice in the north shore, because they have the best t-shirt shop.

There are lots of shops and beautiful views, however, this is not the most private beach on the island, but is very central to the wedding venue.
