From the moment I met Dalton in 7th grade, I could sense that there was something special about him. He fell in love with me instantly, but at the time, I wasn't ready to date. We cherished our friendship for years, and it wasn’t until the summer of 2020 that our relationship finally blossomed.

Our first date was a memorable trip to Sonic and the park. Dalton had been fishing in a tournament all day, and I was at the river with my family. We drove home, I got ready, and then I climbed into his truck barefoot. My parents were appalled, but I thought it was funny. Just two weeks later, I found the courage to tell Dalton that I loved him, and from that moment on, we have been inseparable. We officially began dating July 6th, 2020.

Throughout high school, we created countless unforgettable memories together. Our time was filled with many adventures—hunting trips, beach trips, visits to haunted houses, and the excitement of homecoming parades. Dalton was my biggest supporter, attending every single one of my games, while I cheered him on as he triumphed in winning a state championship in golf. We danced the nights away at several school dances, filling those moments with laughter and joy. Each experience deepened our bond and made our connection feel truly special.

As we transitioned to adulthood, I continued my education and Dalton supported me through college. In return, I stood by him as he focused on his work. We are not just partners; we are best friends who share everything—laughter, dreams, and a love for life. Each challenge we faced together helped us grow stronger as individuals and as a couple. Our love only deepens with every passing day, and we feel so grateful to have each other. We both thank God everyday for allowing us to find each other.

On September 21st, 2024, Dalton surprised me with a proposal at the Grand Floridian in Disney World. It was a beautiful evening on the dock when he expressed his love and commitment, catching me completely off guard. I was filled with joy and excitement as I said yes, knowing we were ready to take this next step together. It was a moment I will cherish forever, marking the beginning of our new adventure.

As we plan our wedding, we can't help but reflect on our incredible journey. From our first date at Sonic to our magical engagement, every moment has been filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. We are so blessed to have each other, and cannot wait to spend forever together.
