Our love story began during Sophomore year of high school when we met through mutual friends. We didn't know it at the time, but God had big plans for us! Matthew and I spent many hours on phone calls, went on many dates as "just friends", and even went to high school football games together before we ever made it official. Throughout those months, it was obvious to everyone but us that we were meant to be.

After we were officially dating, our favorite date spots were biking on the nature trail, going to the movies, and hiking on Cecil. One of my favorite things was supporting Matthew's love for basketball. I only missed two games and even traveled to away games! You can ask anyone we were friends with in high school and they would tell you, we didn't like to be apart. Two years quickly flew by and we were off to college together!

College has been a blast and we have loved the adventure of figuring out life away from home together. We had lots of fun throughout the years and made so many new friends on top of the new stresses of college, yet our love for each other never wavered. Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior year went by in a flash and we both knew what our next step would be. After almost five years of being together, Matthew proposed in August right before Senior year began at our favorite walking trail in Tuscaloosa. We had been talking about getting married for years and this was the start of our next chapter!

We are so excited to start our forever together!
