An Invisible String...

Some things in life fall into place without rhyme or reason, but as cliché as it sounds, they just fit… perfectly. That’s our story.Even though Paityn originally said “no” to dating Pat nine times before finally saying “yes,” two things became crystal clear:Pat was never going to give up.Life had been pulling them together with an invisible string and an unshakable sense of “God’s perfect timing”.Paityn and Patrick met in 2022 through their mutual friends, Jake and Lauren. The first date? Braving the snowbike races in McCall—three hours standing outside in a frigid -17 degrees. (Pro tip: First dates should come with a warning label about frostbite.) But somehow, despite the chill, the rest was history.From there, the two bonded over their love of singing in the car, spontaneous road trips, and spending time outdoors. Pat’s friends welcomed Paityn into the crew with open arms, and soon, game nights, Friendsgivings, and spontaneous nights out became our new normal. It didn’t take long for them to become each other’s go-to person. Best friends never felt so good.In their almost three years of dating, Paityn and Patrick have packed in quite the adventure. They've enjoyed 10 floats on the river, attended 9 weddings (practically professionals at this point), survived 8 hunting trips, and shared 7 big celebrations with family and friends. There have been 6 camping excursions, 5 concerts, 4 unforgettable road trips, 3 New Year’s kisses, 2 sweet fur babies, and 1 incredible proposal in front of the Thomas and Mack at the NFR on December 6th.Through it all, both Pat and Paityn have grown so much—individually and as a couple. And now, they are beyond thrilled to start the next chapter of their story as husband and wife. They're endlessly thankful for the friends, family, and experiences that have shaped this incredible journey, and can’t wait to celebrate with all who’ve been part of it.So, mark your calendars and get ready for a day full of love, laughter, and maybe a few happy tears. The man. The Myth. The Legend. The Best Man. He is Mat Murphy. Mat's the infamous younger brother of our groom and he's known for being the life of the party. After speeches, you'll be sure to find him bustin' a move on the dance floor.

To know Lauren is to love her. There are few people on this earth that contain as much kindness and selflessness in their person. Paityn counts herself blessed to be best friends with such an incredible human.

It's no surprise that Jake is here to stand beside Pat. After being best friends for over 15 years, he has supported (and endured) every one of Pat's phases. If you've spent any time with them together, you know it's always just "one more hill" or "one more hunt." Being with Jake and Pat together is like discovering a new species-- but if you can make it through any of their crazy conversations you'll see that these two are more like brothers than best friends.

Emma and Paityn's favorite past-time is asking strangers how they think the girls met. Are they childhood best friends? College roommates? Work friends? All false-- this aunt and niece duo have been besties since day 1. No matter the distance, whether it be Idaho and California, Idaho and Washington DC, or just down the hall in their first apartment, Emma and Paityn are simply two peas in a pod. Get ready for their duet to the Jonas Brothers... you won't want to miss it.

If there was any person in this group that could pass as a secret service agent, a CIA operative, or an FBI detail, it would be Jordan. Why? Because it's possible to know him for years but not be able to articulate anything about him other than the fact that he likes to hunt. Even though Jordan has a quiet demeanor, he has proven to be a loyal friend to Pat both while fixing wire and looking for big bucks.

Kelsea and Paityn became fast best friends their freshmen year of college, and when Kelsea decided to cut her bangs off at the scalp rather than letting them grow out, Paityn loved her through it. After 8 years, several road trips, plenty of frat parities, and countless laughs, they remain closer than ever. Beware, she might talk to you in movie quotes— you have to just roll with it

Facts about Kris: 
1. When the Bride and Groom first met, Kris was the roommate. 
2. If you need a good river float guide, Kris is your go-to-guy. (He can also execute the most graceful-- albeit unintentional- - kayak tip-over you've ever seen)
3. He best-friended so hard he was in attendance when Pat popped the question.

Baylee and Paityn met on Paityn's first day of sorority recruitment and from that moment on there was no disputing the fact that the two belonged together. You'll often find them hysterically laughing over some old inside joke because somewhere in another universe, they're still 19, dumb, driving down greek row, and scream singing their favorite songs.

Endearingly known to us as "Larry," this groomsman and Pat have a bromance that would make Hollywood jealous. No really-- sometimes Paityn wonders if she's the third wheel. Through completing their apprenticeship together and finding their jobs in Idaho Power, Larry and Pat have found the perfect sweet spot of competition and peace. Overtime, Paityn has come to the conclusion that Larry is the best work wife Pat could ever have.

Coty had one of the most influential impacts on Pat-- he introduced Pat to the world of horn hunting. Since then, on any given weekend you can find Pat up in the hills collecting trophies. Coty is one of those steady friends that you can count on for anything. It's evident that over the last 10 years, Coty has become an important part of Pat's life.

Fun fact: when Paityn was born, it was Kim who decided how to spell her name. 27 years later, and Starbucks still can't get it right. All jokes aside, 25 years means nothing to Kim and the bride. From summer swim dates at the pool, to trips back and forth from Idaho to California, to their own excursions, the love between these two sisters transcends any age gap. Don't let her fool you, this teacher gone wild will show you she knows how to have a good time.
